Bathroom Stool and Bedside Lamp

Two small projects.

The stool was made by Dad and was always in their bathroom. It was painted white gloss, but the damp air had caused the paint to bubble in places and there were a number of chips.

Luckily the wood underneath was not damaged.

This was painted with ‘left over’ paint. Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt in Blueberry and Potter’s Pink.

The lamp was on Dad’s bedside cabinet my entire life. I think it was shop bought. Beige coloured wood and matching cream shade. I decided to give a bit of colour and again used the Blueberry paint. The shade was bought from a Bespoke maker on eBay.
