The fireplace when we moved into the house looked ok from a distance, but up close it was scratched and chipped. This meant that I had a bit of work sanding and filling and then sanding again before I could start painting.
The paint chosen was:
Frenchic Al Fresco in Blackjack, Smudge and City Slicker
The moulding I added was painted with metallic gold and silver acrylic paints.
