After the fun I had restoring the chair, lamp and trellises – it was time to take on 2 bigger jobs
I had 3 fence panels that needed painting and decided to brush these with the wire brush. Then painted in Frenchic Al Fresco in Wise Old Sage. A word of warning here each 6ft wide fence panel took an entire tin (750ml) of paint. Expensive way to paint a fence panel, but I hope it saves the panels for a fair few years to come. Part of my garden boundary is my next door neighbours house which at some point has been wood panelled, but I don’t know whose responsibility it is to paint this at the moment.
I also painted a little badger that I was given 45 years – Frenchic AL Fresco – Blackjack, Dazzle Me, Victory Lane and a dot of Dusky Blush on his nose. We call him Mr Powell.
The table and chairs were quite easy to do – washed with soap spirit, then a very light with sandpaper. Then 3 coats of Frenchic Al Fresco in Dusky Blush
