What do you do with yourself between Christmas and New Year when it’s pouring with rain outside? Well you find yourself a new project.
This was a Facebook Marketplace find.
No idea of it’s previous life, but it was very badly painted in a chalk paint and the top was covered in cup marks when I picked it up. New professional sander to the rescue. However, what was interesting under paint on the side it was black with a weird wishy washy white flower design.
Once sanded I did paint the entire unit with a white primer to seal the wood more than anything.
Then the white was Dulux Heritage Eggshell in Lead White and the Blue was Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt in Deep Ultramarine.
New handles applied from Amazon in rose gold.
I didn’t do anything to the inside of the drawers as they were nicely lined with a black fabric.
